Leafletting 2 (Building Community)
2007
This was an interactive project, where I solicited answers to a series of questions by writing them on about 1000 fallen leaves and leaving them around town.

After gathering fallen autumn leaves, I hand wrote my questions and web address on them in biofriendly, non-toxic ink. I used no methods of preserving them, other than keeping them in a cookie tin.

I soaked them in water to make them supple, and so that they would stick to surfaces (like when it rains in the fall and your car is covered in leaves)

They were left on the windshields of cars parked on the street, in parking lots and garages, and also on parking meters, on the walls of covered walkways, and on office windows and doors.

These leaves decayed no differently then all the other leaves of the season.

Responses are being kept for use in a future project
